Biography

Dr. Christopher Ozorio is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, percussionist, and educator based in Tucson, Arizona. After serving honorably in the Marine Corps and experiencing the audition process firsthand, he now helps aspiring military drummers prepare for and pass one of the most competitive auditions in the country: the Marine Corps Music Enlistment Option Program (MEOP). Through disciplined training, mental conditioning, and proven strategies, Dr. Ozorio equips drummers not just to survive the process—but to walk in ready to win.

He is a recipient of the U.S. Marine Corps "Gung-ho" Award and an active member of several national music organizations, including the Percussive Arts Society and the National Association for Music Education. Dr. Ozorio is also part of the Black Swamp Percussion Educator Network and proudly serves as an Education Artist for both Vic Firth and the Avedis Zildjian Company.
